The song “Fly High and Dream” is an original contemporary musical composition adapted and inspired by the sonnet “High Flight.” Although the sonnet is well known to most aviators worldwide, we feel that the spirit of the composition transcends physical flight to encompass all of humanity who pursues their dreams with passion and excellence. Our musical goal was to create a definitive composition that would invite a variety of performance possibilities from our most celebrated orchestras, military bands, ensemble groups and world class solo artists.
